Bus service between urbanisations and the beach.

Children allowed, no pets allowed.
Access for elderly / disabled / wheelchair users – front door on first floor level, no lift. Entire apartment on one level. Therefore suitable for elderly people with no walking problems but not for disabled or wheelchair users.
Beach towels not included.
Unfortunately it is not possible to have a barbeque at the property because of community rules or because it could spoil the appearance of the building from the smoke. However, many people buy a small disposable tin tray type barbeque or manual coal type barbeque on legs (less than 20 euro) and have a barbeque in the sand dunes on the beach or in the countryside.

DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCAL AREA

Las Chismosa, in the area of Orihuela Costa, is less than a 10 minutes drive south of Torrevieja. It has a very multi-cultural feel as many people from other countries now live in this area and actually outnumber the Spaniards! This area is a favourite for British and Irish ex-pats. Consequently, the shops, bars and restaurants in this area originate from many nationalities to provide food to suit all tastes - from the native Spanish to Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Scandinavian, Argentinean, Hungarian, Mexican cuisine, etc.

1 minutes walk from a large public swimming pool and cafe/bar complex. Open May to mid October (weather permitting).

3 minutes walk to Las Chismosa Commercial area with 2 Chinese restaurants, Spanish restaurant, othe rbars, supermarket, hardware shop, car hire, etc.

The Emerald Isle Irish entertainment centre is within a 10 minute walk. It has two swimming pools surrounded by large grassed sunbathing areas. You can sit and relax around the pool all day (small cost for hire of sunbeds and use of pools). There are children's play areas with the ball park and bouncy castle available for a small cost. The restaurant and bar are open all day serving hot/cold food either inside or outdoors. There is nightly outdoor entertainment in the summer. There are daily activities such as aerobics (in the pool when warm enough), Tai Chi classes, line dancing, scuba diving lessons, bingo, etc

10 minutes walk from the renowned Irish pub the Abbey Tavern (www.theabbeytavern.com), which normally stays open until 3 or 4 in the morning most of the year and has nightly entertainment, beer garden, large tv, pool, darts, internet computers and children's play area., and other facilities in the La Florida commercial area (supermarket, bars, Chinese and other restaurants, bank, car hire, hairdressers, etc).

15 minute walk from Via Park 3 commercial centre with 2 floors of bars and restaurants.

20 minutes walk to the Celtic Isle Irish entertainment centre with own swimming pool, bars and restaurant and also the popular Saturday morning market.

20 minutes walk from Via Park 1, Via Park 2 and the Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre with the Lansdowne bar, Rosie O'Grady's, the Blues Brothers, Divas Indian restaurant, Spud Murphies and 3 floors of bars and restaurants. Nearby are familiar supermarkets such as Lidl, Aldi and Supercor - the "Harrods" food hall of Spain.

Nearby bus service into Torrevieja town or various taxi ranks throughout the area..

The EU Blue Flag beaches at Playa Flamenca and La Zenia have vast expanses of golden sands and there are jet-ski's, a banana boat and pedalo's in the summer months, as well as the usual "bars on the beach". The property is 1.5 km from the beach - 5 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk.

Bus service between urbanisations and the beach. Only around 1 euro per person getting on or off anywhere on the route. Ideal if you don't want to drive on holiday.

10 minutes drive, or 7 km to Torrevieja town centre, marina, harbour, Carrefour, Habernas shopping centre (H&M, C&A, Zara, etc), McDonalds, ten pin bowling, casino, etc.

It is only a 10 minutes drive to golf courses of Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas.

Car recommended for beach visits unless used to walking.
