In a modern urbanisation on the southern outskirts of Torrevieja. North west facing. 8 km to town centre, marina, cinema, bowling, etc. 20 minute walk or 1,5 km to the sandy beaches at La Zenia. Bus service between urbanisations and the beach.

Lounge/dining/kitchen area. Master bedroom with double bed and balcony. Second bedroom with twin beds. American style kitchen with breakfast bar. Downstairs cloakroom. Bathroom. Hot/cold air conditioning in both bedrooms. Fully tiled large front terrace and garden. Roof solarium. Tiled drive for two cars. Use of communal pool (approximately 100 metres away).

Children allowed, no pets allowed.
Access for elderly / disabled / wheelchair users – 3 steps up to property front door area. 1 step up into house. Internal layout over 2 floors plus solarium on third floor. No bedrooms on ground floor. Therefore suitable for elderly people with no walking problems but not for disabled or wheelchair users.
Beach towels not included.

DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCAL AREA

Cabo Roig is in the area of Orihuela Costa, is 10 minutes drive south of Torrevieja and is on the a main bus and taxi route. It has a very multi-cultural feel as many people from other countries now live in this area and actually outnumber the Spaniards! This area is a favourite for British and Irish ex-pats. Consequently, the shops, bars and restaurants in this area originate from many nationalities to provide food to suit all tastes - from the native Spanish to Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Scandinavian, Argentinean, Hungarian, Mexican cuisine, etc.

400 metres to 2 new commercial centres complete with Lidl supermarket, numerous bars and restaurants (opening summer 2007).

600 metres to the main coast road, the N332, where you will find bars, restaurants, supermarkets, etc, and a bus stop into Torrevieja town and beyond.

700 metres to the Orihuela Costa Resort, where there is a magnificent pool with large sunbathing terrace and loungers, extensive lawn area, tennis courts, basket ball area and gymnasium - available for a small charge - and pool bar and restaurant.

20 minute walk or 1 km to the EU Blue Flag sandy beaches at La Zenia. There are jet-ski's, a banana boat and pedalo's in the summer months, as well as the usual "bars on the beach". Further adjacent EU Blue Flag beaches, all just a few minutes apart by car, include Playa Flamenca, Cala Capitan, Cala Caleta, Cala Bosque.

25 minute walk to Via Park I & II commercial centres with bars, restaurants,etc, and the popular Saturday morning market in Playa Flamenca.

30 minutes walk to the Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre, the largest in the area, with about 60 bars and restaurants and nearby are familiar supermarkets such as Lidl, Aldi and Supercor - the "Harrods" food hall of Spain. There is a popular market on every Saturday morning in a wide road in Playa Flamenca.

10 minutes drive, or 8 km to Torrevieja town centre, marina, harbour, Carrefour, Habernas shopping centre (H&M, C&A, Zara, etc), McDonalds, ten pin bowling, casino, etc.

Less than 10 minutes drive to the golf courses of Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas.
