North facing (provides some welcome shade in July and August!). 500 metres or less than 10 minutes walk to the sandy beach at Playa del Cura. 15 minute walk to main church square and marina. 10 minutes walk to main bus station. 30 minute walk to Carrefour, Habernas shopping centre (H&M, C&A, Zara, etc), McDonalds, ten pin bowling, casino, etc. Car not necessary.

Children allowed, no pets allowed.
Access for elderly / disabled / wheelchair users – front door on first floor level via lift. Ramp to ground floor lift door. Entire apartment on one level. Therefore suitable for elderly people, disabled or small wheelchair users.
Small wheelchairs with ramp access at main entrance and lift. Building front door width at 850 mm. At building front door, step up from pavement to building foyer floor is 100 mm. Typical apartment front door width at 770 mm, Bathroom door at 580 mm, Kitchen door at 690 mm, Bedroom 1 at 670 mm, Bedroom 2 at 670 mm.
On request, we can provide 1 special key, which will allow access into the building by using the car park ramp and electric door and a second key which will operate the lift to and from the garage floor level.
This apartment also has a built-in shower with low level ceramic tray as opposed to a bath so it is possible to place a plastic chair within the shower tray for a disabled person to sit on.
Beach towels not provided.
Unfortunately it is not possible to have a barbeque at the property because of community rules or because it could spoil the appearance of the building from the smoke.

DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCAL AREA

There is a small Spanish supermarket is in the building opposite the apartment block and a 24 hour shop and chemist behind the complex. Larger supermarkets are just a few blocks away.

Various bars and restaurants are in the roads surrounding the apartment block including Bar Oly for a good English breakfast.

Less than 10 minutes walk to main bus station.

500 metres or less than 10 minutes walk to the sandy beach at Playa del Cura.

30 minutes walk to the Aquapark, Carrefour and the Habernas shopping centre.

There is no swimming pool in the apartment block. An unheated public swimming pool can be found at Paraiso De Los Angles, Via Av. Las Alondras, Plaza De Los Halcones 27, Urb. Los Agles. Tel 965 718596. It's about 10 minutes walk) and the cost is about 3 euro per person (2004) but it's open in the summer months only.

A heated public swimming pool can be found at the Municipal pool/Municipal Sports Centre near the Aquapark. It's an Olympic size pool. It's off the "Pinnacle" roundabout in Avenida Valenciana (old Alicante Road).

Another heated pool can be found at the Aldea del Mar Fitness Club, Calle Jacinto Benauente, Bloque 20, Urb. Aldea del Mar near Playa de Los Locos, Torrevieja sea front . It has an indoor pool, bar, restaurant, gym, solarium, sauna, jacuzzi and fabulous outdoor pool. It's behind the Dueguesa Beach Apartments on Los Locos beach, just opposite the 222 pizza place.

It is 15 minutes drive to golf courses of Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas.
