Balcony overlooking the gardens. 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one with twin beds. Two bathrooms, one being ensuite. Fully equipped kitchen. Hot/cold air conditioning and bathroom underfloor heating. 24 hour manned CCTV cameras. Underground car park. THREE large communal pools (one heated from 1st November) within 50 to 100 metres, small jacuzzi pool, mini-golf, gardens. Wheelchair friendly. Secure gated complex.

Patio doors/sliding shutters to balcony overlooking the gardens and quiet road. Patio table and 4 chairs. Children allowed, no pets allowed. Regards the heated pool, our experience both here and in apartments in Tenerife when we go on holiday in the winter with a “heated” pool is that they only take the chill off them; they are not like getting in a tepid bath. The heating is turned off by complex administrators on either April 1st or May 1st dependent on the weather/ambient temperature at the time. The heated pool is rectangular as a cover is fitted over it every night to help retain the heat in the water and does NOT have a separate children’s section like the other 2 unheated pools (see photos). This apartment is west facing and therefore gets the sun on the balcony later in the day. In the summer, when the sun is higher in the sky, the sun is on the balcony for a longer period as there is no roof immediately above the balcony. |

DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCAL AREA Punta Prima has a very multi-cultural feel as many people from other countries now live in this area and actually outnumber the Spaniards! This area is a favourite for British and Irish ex-pats. Consequently, the shops, bars and restaurants in this area originate from many nationalities to provide food to suit all tastes - from the native Spanish to Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Scandinavian, Argentinean, Hungarian, Mexican cuisine, etc. 50 metres to bus stop into Torrevieja (Line F). 250 metres to the main N332 coast road with a commrecial centre on the roundabout, bars, restaurants, McDonalds, Subway baguettes, shops, banks, chemist, currency exchange, supermarkets (Aldi, Eroski Centre, Carrefour). 20 minutes walk from the Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre with the Lansdowne bar, Rosie O'Grady's, the Blues Brothers, Divas Indian restaurant, Spud Murphies and 3 floors of bars and restaurants. Nearby are supermarkets such as Lidl, Aldi and Supercor - the "Harrods" food hall of Spain. There is a popular market on every Saturday morning in a wide road in nearby Playa Flamenca - within walking distance. 5 minutes walk or 500 metres to Punta Prima beach. Along this part of the coastline, it is a mixture of sandy coves and rocky areas (ideal for rock pools). There is a wide promenade at Punta Prima which is currently being extended along the coastline. Past Punta Prima (few minutes drive) are the EU Blue Flag beaches of Playa Flamenca and La Zenia, with vast expanses of golden sands and there are jet-ski's, a banana boat and pedalo's in the summer months, as well as the usual "bars on the beach". 5 minutes drive, or 5 km to Torrevieja town centre, marina, harbour, Carrefour, Habernas shopping centre (H&M, C&A, Zara, etc), McDonalds, ten pin bowling, casino, etc. It is only a 10 minutes drive to golf courses of Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas. We recommend a car to get the best out of any area but if all you want to do is relax, take in the sun and have meal and a drink in the evening, either in the property or in the nearby commercial centres, it is not essential due to the numerous facilities within walking distance.
