In a private, mainly residential complex accessed by pedestrian pathways so generally quiet and safe from traffic. Roadside parking in adjacent road.
Use of large "infinity" or "wet edge" communal pool (approximately 100 metres away).

Children allowed, no pets allowed.
Access for elderly / disabled / wheelchair users – front door at ground level (only threshold step). Entire house on one level. Solarium on first level via external stairs. Therefore suitable for elderly people, disabled or small wheelchair users for access to house.
Beach towels not provided.

Note: This complex is adjacent to the Saturday morning market and it is difficult to use a car from early morning until mid afternoon on a Saturday. It may be necessary to park several roads away.

DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCAL AREA

Playa Flamenca is less than a 10 minutes drive south of Torrevieja. It has a very multi-cultural feel as many people from other countries now live in this area and actually outnumber the Spaniards! This area is a favourite for British and Irish ex-pats. Consequently, the shops, bars and restaurants in this area originate from many nationalities to provide food to suit all tastes - from the native Spanish to Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Scandinavian, Argentinean, Hungarian, Mexican cuisine, etc.

Within 100 metres of the popular Saturday morning market, a chinese restaurant and a large Irish bar.

Within 300 metres of Via Park I & II commercial centres with bars, restaurants, supermarket, etc.

Within 400 metres of the Celtic Isle entertainment centre Irish entertainment centre with own swimming pool, bars and restaurant.

Within 400 metres of another selection of bars and restaurants in the opposite direction.

Within 800 metres of large Mercadona supermarket and 1 km to the N332 main road bus service to town and beyond.

1.5 kilometre to the well known Flamenca Beach Commercial centre (largest in South Costa Blanca) with the Lansdowne bar, Rosie O'Grady's, the Blues Brothers, Divas Indian restaurant, Spud Murphies and 3 floors of bars and restaurants. Adjacent to that centre is the new Supercor supermarket - the "Harrods" food hall of Spain - banks, etc. Nearby are the Lidl and Carrefour supermarkets (Playa de Orihuela); smaller version of the hypermarket in Torrevieja. Nearby go-kart track for all ages (3 circuits).

Nearby bus service into Torrevieja town or various taxi ranks throughout the area..

The EU Blue Flag beaches at Playa Flamenca and La Zenia have vast expanses of golden sands and there are jet-ski's, a banana boat and pedalo's in the summer months, as well as the usual "bars on the beach". 25 minutes walk or 1.5 km to the sandy beaches at Playa Flamenca or La Zenia.

Bus service between urbanisations and the beach. Only around 1 euro per person getting on or off anywhere on the route. Ideal if you don't want to drive on holiday.

10 minutes drive, or 7 km to Torrevieja town centre, marina, harbour, Carrefour, Habernas shopping centre (H&M, C&A, Zara, etc), McDonalds, ten pin bowling, casino, etc.

It is only a 10 minutes drive to golf courses of Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas.

Car recommended for beach visits unless used to walking.
